DO I NEED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT? IF I LIVE NEARBY, CAN I WALK-IN?All visitors must prebook an appointment online. Fobii requires you to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the business. Customers must show proof of vaccination by showing their COVID-19 digital certificate. Fobii reserves the right to refuse business to unvaccinated customers. If you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have been refused entry for this reason, please be aware that Fobii is doing their job and following the laws in place in Victoria to keep you and others safe. IS IT POSSIBLE TO COPY A KEY FOB?Yes, it is possible to copy most key fobs currently used in Australia today. Some key fobs are easy to copy while others aren’t.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COPY MY KEY?The total time it takes for us to copy a key depends on the format. Some can be as quick as a few minutes. Others will take us longer. If we can't copy your key due to factors beyond our control, we will let you know ASAP.
IF MY ORIGINAL KEY IS DEACTIVATED WILL MY COPY STILL WORK?A copied key carries an exact copy of the data on the original key. If your original key is deactivated, both keys will stop working. Deactivation often occurs when a tenant moves away or reports the key lost or stolen.

AM I ALLOWED TO MAKE A COPY OF MY FOB?This is an area that the law is very silent on. Fobii works on the assumption that if you have the fob in your possession, you're allowed to copy it. This is exactly the same principle that all physical key copying businesses operate on. We encourage you to ensure that you have permission to make a copy before proceeding if you are unsure. This might mean asking your real estate agent, or employer before using our service.

Refund Policy of FobiiThis Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to the following purchases: key fob duplicating service1. General
(a) We offer refunds, repairs and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and on the terms set out in this Refund Policy ("Policy").
(b) Any benefits set out in this Policy may apply in addition to consumer's rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
(c) Before making a purchase, please read this Policy so that you can understand your rights and what you can expect from us if you are not satisfied with your order.
(d) For all orders, faults or errors must be detected within 7 days after the purchase. If any quality issues in the products arise after the timeframe, you may return the product to us for further inspection to identify if any issues that have arisen are due to a fault in the product. If the investigation shows that the product is deemed faulty, you will be reimbursed for your postage expense for returning the item, and offered a refund or a replacement. If the issues in the product are found to be due to incorrect use or due to deactivation of the original key fob, you will be required to covered the cost of the inspection and any additional postage expenses required to return the product to you.
2. Australian Consumer Law
(a) Under the Australian Consumer Law:
(i) Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled
(A) to cancel your service contract with us; and
(B) to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
(ii) You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
(b) We offer refunds, repairs, and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
(c) The Australian Consumer Law provides a set of Consumer Guarantees which protect consumers when they buy products and services.
(d) If the Australian Consumer Law applies, then we cannot avoid the Consumer Guarantees which it provides. If there is an inconsistency between this Policy and the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law will prevail.

(f) If a product or service which you purchased from us has a major failure (as defined in the Australian Consumer Law) then you may be entitled to a replacement or refund. You may also be entitled to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage resulting from that major failure.
(g) If a product or service which you purchased from us has a failure which does not amount to a major failure (as defined in the Australian Consumer Law) then you may still be entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced.
3. Cancellation and Change of Mind
(a) We do not offer any refund if you change your mind, or find the same product or service cheaper elsewhere.
4. Exceptions
(a) Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Policy, we may refuse to provide a repair, replacement or refund for a product or service purchased by you if:
(i) Your building security deactivated the original key fob.
(ii) You misused the said product in a way which caused the problem.
(iii) You knew or were made aware of the problem(s) with the product or service before you purchased it.
(iv) You asked for a service to be done in a certain manner, or you asked for alterations to a product, against our advice, or you were unclear about what you wanted.
(v) Any other exceptions that apply under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Response Time
(a) We aim to process any requests for repairs, replacements or refunds within 7 days of receipt.
6. How to Return Products
(a) You can contact us at the end of this Policy to discuss a return using the information.
(b) Unless otherwise defined in our sole discretion, we shall pay all refunds in the same form as the original purchase or to the same account or credit card used to make the original purchase.
(c) To be eligible for a refund, repair or replacement, you must provide proof of purchase.
(d) You may be required to provide a government issued identification to qualify for a
refund, repair or replacement.

(a) Where the option is given to you, you may make payment for the Services (the ' Services Fee') by way of:
(i) Credit Card Payment ('Credit Card')

(b) All payments made in the course of your use of the Services are made using Square. In using the Website, the Services or when making any payment in relation to your use of the Services, you warrant that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Square terms and conditions which are available on their website.
(c) You acknowledge and agree that where a request for the payment of the Services Fee is returned or denied, for whatever reason, by your financial institution or is unpaid by you for any other reason, then you are liable for any costs, including banking fees and charges, associated with the Services Fee.
(d) You agree and acknowledge that Fobii can vary the Services Fee at any time.
6. Refund Policy
Fobii will only provide you with a refund of the Services Fee in the event they are unable to continue to provide the Services or if the manager of Fobii makes a decision, at its absolute discretion, that it is reasonable to do so under the circumstances (the 'Refund').
7. Copyright and Intellectual Property
(a) The Website, the Services and all of the related products of Fobii are subject to copyright. The material on the Website is protected by copyright under the laws of Australia and through international treaties. Unless otherwise indicated, all rights (including copyright) in the Services and compilation of the Website (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, video images, audio clips, Website, code, scripts, design elements and interactive features) or the Services are owned or controlled for these purposes, and are reserved by Fobii or its contributors.
(b) All trademarks, service marks and trade names are owned, registered and/or licensed by Fobii, who grants to you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license whilst you are a Member to:
(i) use the Website pursuant to the Terms;
(ii) copy and store the Website and the material contained in the Website in your device's cache memory; and
(iii) print pages from the Website for your own personal and non-commercial use.
Fobii does not grant you any other rights whatsoever in relation to the Website or the Services. All other rights are expressly reserved by Fobii.
(c) Fobii retains all rights, title and interest in and to the Website and all related Services. Nothing you do on or in relation to the Website will transfer any:

This shall include, but is not limited to, any loss of profit (whether incurred directly or indirectly), any loss of
goodwill or business reputation and any other intangible loss.
11. Termination of Contract
(a) The Terms will continue to apply until terminated by either you or by Fobii as set out below.
(b) If you want to terminate the Terms, you may do so by:
(i) providing Fobii with 0 days' notice of your intention to terminate; and
(ii) closing your accounts for all of the services which you use, where Fobii has
made this option available to you. Your notice should be sent, in writing, to Fobii via the 'Contact Us' link on our homepage.
(c) Fobii may at any time, terminate the Terms with you if:
(i) you have breached any provision of the Terms or intend to breach any provision;
(ii) Fobii is required to do so by law
(iii) the provision of the Services to you by Fobii is, in the opinion of Fobii, no longer commercially viable.
(d) Subject to local applicable laws, Fobii reserves the right to discontinue or cancel your membership at any time and may suspend or deny, in its sole discretion, your access to all or any portion of the Website or the Services without notice if you breach any provision of the Terms or any applicable law or if your conduct impacts Fobii's name or reputation or violates the rights of those of another party.
12. Indemnity
(a) You agree to indemnify Fobii, its affiliates, employees, agents, contributors, third party content providers and licensors from and against:
(i) all actions, suits, claims, demands, liabilities, costs, expenses, loss and damage (including legal fees on a full indemnity basis) incurred, suffered or arising out of or in connection with Your Content;

13. Dispute Resolution
(a) Compulsory:
If a dispute arises out of or relates to the Terms, either party may not commence
any Tribunal or Court proceedings in relation to the dispute, unless the following clauses have been complied with (except where urgent interlocutory relief is sought).
(b) Notice:
A party to the Terms claiming a dispute ('Dispute') has arisen under the Terms, must give written notice to the other party detailing the nature of the dispute, the desired outcome and the action required to settle the Dispute.
(c) Resolution:
On receipt of that notice ('Notice') by that other party, the parties to the Terms ('Parties') must:
(i) Within 3 days of the Notice endeavour in good faith to resolve the Dispute expeditiously by negotiation or such other means upon which they may mutually agree;
(ii) If for any reason whatsoever, 3 days after the date of the Notice, the Dispute has not been resolved, the Parties must either agree upon selection of a mediator or request that an appropriate mediator be appointed by the President of the VCAT or his or her nominee;
(iii) The Parties are equally liable for the fees and reasonable expenses of a mediator and the cost of the venue of the mediation and without limiting the foregoing undertake to pay any amounts requested by the mediator as a pre-condition to the mediation commencing. The Parties must each pay their own costs associated with the mediation;
(iv) The mediation will be held in Melbourne, Australia.
(d) Confidential:
All communications concerning negotiations made by the Parties arising out of and in connection with this dispute resolution clause are confidential and to the extent possible, must be treated as "without prejudice" negotiations for the purpose of applicable laws of evidence.
(e) Termination of Mediation:
If 5 days have elapsed after the start of a mediation of the Dispute and the Dispute has not been resolved, either Party may ask the mediator to terminate the mediation and the mediator must do so.
14. Venue and Jurisdiction
(a) The Services offered by Fobii is intended to be viewed by residents of Australia. In the event of any dispute arising out of or in relation to the Website, you agree that the exclusive venue for resolving any dispute shall be in the courts of Victoria, Australia.
15. Governing Law
(a) The Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute, controversy, proceeding or claim of whatever nature arising out of or in any way relating to the Terms and the rights created hereby shall be governed, interpreted and construed by, under and pursuant to the laws of Victoria, Australia, without reference to conflict of law principles, notwithstanding mandatory rules. The validity of this governing law clause is not contested. The Terms shall be binding to the benefit of the parties hereto and their successors and assigns.
16. Independent Legal Advice
(a) Both parties confirm and declare that the provisions of the Terms are fair and reasonable and both parties having taken the opportunity to obtain independent legal advice and declare the Terms are not against public policy on the grounds of inequality or bargaining power or general grounds of restraint of trade.
17. Severance
(a) If any part of these Terms is found to be void or unenforceable by a Court of competent jurisdiction, that part shall be severed and the rest of the Terms shall remain in force.
